Iris --and no, that is not a mis-spelling of Isis <pan-like grin>-- Greek messenger goddess, personification of the Rainbow, goddess of sea and sky, she is credited with supplying the clouds with water for the rains.

Nuada the Silver-hand
First King of the Tuatha de Danann, but had to step down when he lost the arm in battle with the Fir Bolgs. Later challenged for it again after another god fashioned a replacement hand/arm out of silver.

Epona: Gaulish/Celtic, The Divine Mare, Protector of Equines, Fertility, abundance, and rebirth, healing, can also be associated with fresh water springs, crops, birds and dogs. Also a protector of Calvary and Equestrians.

I love Epona, thanks. She is like the only Celtic deity that was worshipped by the Romans--the Roman Cavalry adopted her.
You know, I'm learning a lot through Wikipedia's information on mythology and deities. In this case, I thought to see if one of the Native American tribes might have a god or goddess for our "A."
Ahsonnutli (also spelled Estsanatlehi and Etsanatlehi)
Ahsonnutli is one of the creating deities of the Navaho. The deity is hermaphroditic and helped create the sky and the earth.

I don't know much about Navajo Deities X^) I know a little about the Southern Cherokee though not as much as I should. Epona is pretty spiffy isn't she X^)
Ilmatar: she made the world by breaking some eggs. Finnish Creation Goddess.

In Gallo-Roman religion, Rosmerta was a goddess of fertility and abundance, her attributes being those of plenty such as the cornucopia.
